Re: Hmm!
Did Slow Codger want a picture of the Egli V Max?:
http://micapeak.com/DPG/custom/egli/egli_vmax.jpg
The motors twin 44 DCOE Weber sticks up through the tank dummy with open bellmouths and it was fitted with a two wing Roots supercharger too!
http://micapeak.com/DPG/custom/egli/egli_vmax_belt.jpg
Some figures:
204 bhp and 160 Nm of torque.

Hmmmmm, that would get the adrenalin pumping for sure.
Here`s the man and his lovely daughter(I think) too:

Re: Hmm!
Ive ridden a stock(well apart from being Dynojetted and a Kerker 4 into 1 system)V Max,and I can tell you a stocker is enough for most folk!
The drive off the line is incredible and they`ll pull out Oak tree stumps, let alone your shoulder joints.
Sadly corners slow the old style V Max`s down dramatically, the std forks were a joke on the early models but the latest incarnation has it all sorted:

Russ at Carricks(Yamaha dealer in Edinburgh)say`s it`s madder than a Tasmanian devil in handcuffs!
I`m still badgering him to let me take one(or his one)for a blast,he`s not given in yet.

Re: Hmm!
Is Russ one of the guys who runs Carrick? The name sounds familiar. They supplied my TRX "back in the day"...

Re: Hmm!
Yep,Russ runs the business, short, stocky, nasty habit of using sandpaper on his skin complaint!
I`m not joking either.
He`s allright, although another good friend of mine that used to work for him wouldn`t say that.
