We bought 4 of these (Both parent's bikes, mine and my girlfriends) and we've fitted them to all but my bike... I'm just slack...
They're VERY impressive... Yes they're a little on the bulky side, but I wouldn't let that stop you from getting one... No reason you couldn't mount it under the rear seat or something like that, doesn't have to be behind the fairing...

1. Mounted Fiamm trumpets with cable ties onto the brackets one either side, that attaches the rear part of the fairing to the frame.
2. Mounted the compressor to the frame rail into the area under the pillion seat, again with cable ties.
3. Ran wires from the original horn wires down to the compressor.
4. Ran clear plastic hose from the compressor to a t piece which then split to each trumpet.
5. As it is on the original horn wiring I did not think a relay would be necessary.
6. Horn is loud, distinctive sound, and instant (when you consider the length of the hose from the compressor to the trumpets.
I have had this setup for almost as long as I have had the bike, which is 5 years now.

Fitted the Stebel Nautilus 139db horn today, $38 delivered. 
Jeezus it's loud. Mee soo horny. 
Fitted it using the original horn bracket but relocated upper left of the fairing. Utilised the upper left headlight bolt.
Had a Piezo fitted that i scavenged from my house alarm and while that was loud it couldn't be heard at speed. No problem with that now

I have had twin air horns in the past and after a few months the switch started to burn and scale up. I have always used a relay since, no probs since.ekoja wrote:5. As it is on the original horn wiring I did not think a relay would be necessary.
