Rear sprocket...

Hi everyone!
After introducing myself (in the dedicated part of the site...)I started a dibate on the tall first gear on my trx.
Dropping the front sprocket to 16t was the first suggestion but then Killerwhale said that upgrading the rear one to 43t would have the same effect without stressing too much the chain.
I can not find a website (uk) wich can supply me one, any suggestions?
Cheers

Following on from aftermarket sprockets:
If I switch to something like a 17 / 42 sprocket combination, do I need a 112 or 114 link chain instead of the standard chain length?

The 42t sprocket is an option for a TDM900
B&C Express will give you the guidance on this
And yes, you will need 2 extra links over standard if buying a new chain

...so...changing the rear sprocket to 42t or more needs a longer chain while a 16t on the front lets you get away with the standard chain (I just replaced the chain...

)..if that's the case i think I will forget the rear sprocket option!

Depends on wether your axle has room to move forward on the swinging arm.

This could help
I'm on dailup (a exhilarating experience) and it does take some time to load.
