What you want is a nice bottom braced swinging arm :D

When I got to work this morning, a nice big parcel was waiting for me.

Sorry for the crappy mobile phone piccy but it's all I've got at the moment

The work was done by JMC (as a one off) and then coated by the same guys who did my frame.

interesting swinger mod there. Surprised you didnt opt for the usual YZF path that most ppl do.. Saying that, you make me proud, i love the custom stuff, SOOO much better.

QT

It's the "because I can" answer again! But there were a also a few reasons I didn't go down the YZF route:

1 - I have been fairly opinionated about 5 inches being enough at the rear (ooh err).
2 - I have a spare set of wheels (YZF front and TRX rear) with wets and a garage full of 160 SC Pros
3- I dont actually like the YZF swing arm
4 - (and this is the big one) I wanted something different. I could probably have gone for a top braced custom arm but everyone would still have thought it was a YZF arm.

This way I get to have a complete one off, retain my existing wheel set up and still use the hugger (to keep all the road crap off my epxensive shock)

That looks sooo cool =D> , have you got it bolted on yet? If so please stick a photo up I'd love to see the results.

I was considering fabricating something along the same sort of lines myself, I've noticed the brace loops quite far away from the swingarm to miss the brake arm on the r/h side, any other issues involved??
