YZF forks

Hi, I'm a Thundercat rider from the Netherlands. I've been stalking around this forum for quite some time. Great forum for a great bike. Anyway, because of the info I got from here I succesfully swapped my steel swingarm for a fzr 1000 alloy swingarm.
Currently I'm thinking of swapping my rwu forks for a pair of YZF 750 USD forks. Does anyone know if the yzf750 forks are lighter than my thundercat forks? Does anybody know what the offset of the yzf 750 forks is?

I don't have figures but i would guess that YZF forks are heavier than thundercat forks.
And how do you mean what's the offset? Presume you want to know the offset of the yokes?

Yep, I mean the offset of the yokes. Anyway YZF 750 forks are very hard to come by. I think I might go for R1 forks. I won't have the use the heavy and ugly 320mm discs, which is I big plus.

R1 discs aint much smaller and there are a few other things to consider as well (which is not to put you off but you should know) R1 forks are shorter than TRX and you will loose the opportunity to use a manual speedo drive.
R1 offset is less than YZF (I used R1 yokes on mine)
