Apologies for the crappy pic, I took it from our living room window (I couldn't be chewed to go back down with my phone and I was choking for a cuppa
It was relatively straightforward. It's a standard top yoke drilled for risers and plated underneath to help spread the stresses along the outer edges of the yoke. There was a lot of swearing and routing/re-routing/re-re-routing (you're getting the idea...) of the throttle cables until I realised it was fouling on the little dibble that sticks out underneath the ignition barrel. A couple of seconds with a hacksaw/file/swearbox and it was sorted. The headlight fairing thingy is a generic enduro twin headlight effort that I picked up for three of our finest British Pounds Sterling last weekend at an autojumble. It cleaned up nicely
Gauges? Ah, right... To paraphrase Blazing Saddles, 'Gauges? We don't need no steenkin' gauges'. I'll get a Vapor dash come next pay day. The bike runs fine sans tacho and I just left the derestrictor plugged into the loom, tucked behind the headlight. Job's a good 'un and it rides really nicely
All of the work was done by my good self, apart from the actual drilling of the yoke which my bf did. Now, if you'll excuse me I'm off to have a bath and sort my (absolutely knackered) nails out
