Not sure it floats my boat but each to their own and you have to admire the fit and OE look of this alternative fairing.

Been watching that for a few days now. I like the cafe racer look on some bikes but not sure it suits a TRX ? Works better on twin shock stuff for me. That new retro honda CB1100 thing looks cool as **** to me.

I'm a big fan of the cafe racer look but this looks all wrong to me

Now that one looks proper. First one looks like a std TRX with a fairing.

I like the silver one

Always wondered what a TRX would sound like with the peashooter exhausts, they make the bike look lighter and longer to me. Nearly lost one of my Epro cans the other day

, the wrap around stainless steel bracket broke and only the pipe clamp was holding the can on. Fabrication of new stronger stainless brackets is under way.

Talking of silencer brackets, what`s holding the Norton peashooter replicas on that silver TRX?
Must be sky hooks!

I`m in that movie!
Was at Silverstone during some of the filming and was up a Canon camera advertising board fixed to about 40 feet of scaffolding. We kept shouting and waving every time the camera`s panned our way, there was a hardcore of about six or seven of us up there and we kept ignoring the attempts of officials to get us down.
Saw pretty much all of the circuit from that vantage point, bloody dangerous though thinking about it now.
Randy Mamola was the star of the GP and if I remember rightly the silver dream `thing` was out in the 250 races.
What I remember most though was being allowed onto the circuit to help cut the jam on the perimeter track, was doing 120 on my Le Mans and it felt like riding on a sheet of glass, even looked down at my forks which were moving possibly less than 10mm it was such a good surface.
Loved the yearly pilgramage to Silverstone and the Towcester high street antics even more!
The following year was the complex Honda NR500`s best showing with Freddie Spencer piloting it,sounded great and at one point got up to 5th place if I remember rightly.
I`m a four stroke fan but spent years surrounded by screaming strokers winning everything

,I so wanted the NR to be successful:

and all the 30's and under are scatchin their hair..cause they still have it on their heads goin David Who??? HOLD ME CLOSE..huh ...AAHH what a classic movie as a 18yr old to grow up to aspire to be a motorcycle racer one day..and then he goes and kills himself.. Could have been a mad max of the race world if he savived.. Silver dream 3 beyond brans hatch kinda thing...
But all said a great lookin bike.. alot like how I wanted to set up my triumph many years ago just with short reverse megaphone pipes

I saw the movie but didn`t really rate it to be honest,a bit `tame` for me.
That silver TRX is rather nice with that retro look Imola fairing and the peashooters,it`ll likely sound great, especially if those silencers just have straight absorption pipe internals like any modern race can or better still nothing.
A pair of Conti`s would sound nice too:

Or a pair of Dunstall megaphone copies like these:

I had a `chip shop bike`(honda 400 four)

that I fitted with a chrome tailpipe/tiny absorption silencer from an E type Jaguar, now that was really rorty!
It was called the chip shop bike because that was all it was good for,the sewing machine like motor was boring and never to my liking really.
