arrived in the post this a.m. looking good. Just have to get the old ones out without shearing them off.

Be careful there buddy, the original ones are made of cheese.

Do a search on here for tints and hips, sorry, tits and hinps, sorry hints and tips!

Yes be very careful and try and not to lever them as we broke 4 off last week.

was expecting a major fight getting the old bolts out but 11 came out easily using just a breaker bar and a good quality allen socket (Halford's pro range), no need for heat or anything. Tried tightening them initially to crack the threadlock but they just didn't shift so thought try loosening instead, gently applying pressure seemed to do the trick.

Only one bolt rounded off that someone had already attacked with what must have been a badly fitting key. Tried hammering the socket in but it rounded out all the same, must have been my lucky day though 'cos I thought I'd give it another try once I'd loosened the others and managed to waggle the socket in and loosened it off with a wrench.

For anyobe else considering this, a good bit of heat applied to the bolts 'melts' the thread lock and makes it easier.

Still hasn't stopped me having to cut 2 out in the past!

forgot to mention that the original threads were dry, no sign of any threadlock. needless to say the news ones didn't go in the same way. might have to do the rear disc as it looks a bit tatty now.
