Hey!
Anyone ever seen a remote oil filler?
Got a diopa fairing on now and it´s virtually impossible to reach it

I will ask What is a diopa fairing pic's please

Can you reach the cap to take it off?

If so, can't you just use a small funnel with a piece of pipe on the end to poke in the filler hole?

I was curious on how it would handle in high speeds with full fairing, i had the diopa half fairing previous so now i got both in the same paint

By the way,if you got hold of another oil filler cap you could grind of the top til it`s flush,drill it centrally and araldite some flexible tubing into it.You could then route it to wherever you can locate it within the fairing or against the frame,a remote filler sorted!

For sure an idea!! cheers mate!

If you were to drill the edge of the filler cap in two places opposite each other, you could then tap in two roll pins to give you something to grip when tightening the cap in the oil tank neck.
Roll pins are steel split longitudinally and deform as they are driven into holes, creating a tight fit.
I`m sure you`ll sort something out, it`s not too difficult.

Whose is the matt black TRX? really like the seat unit, what is it off? Also what exhaust are you using? Also the 750 swinging arm what do you have to do to get it to fit? 750 wheel bearings?, custom spacers? drill out rear caliper spacer? I have a 750 swinging arm and would love to save myself the down time of ripping it all to pieces and measuring every thing - A bit lazy but if it gives me more riding time - what the hell

Seat unit is for the TRX but a Duc 916 copy made by Gimbel, using Akra 2-1, swingarm was almost bolt on...you´ll need an offset sprocket though.

Bought it half price on ebay new from Gimbel when it was on sale.
I´ve also changed to a temp guage so should have my standard cap somewhere, was thinking though. Maybe one can cut down an aftermarket temp guage and do a weld on it for a sturdy remote filler...
