Hi

Yes I know, another FCR question but couldn't seem to find much on my specific question. I have an option on a pair of FCR from a TRX that is being broken for parts... It's a pair of FCR 40 that originally come from a set of 4 and have been modified to fit the TRX engine. Two questions come to mind:

I read here that splitting a set of 4 wasn't ideal as it could be costly... since that mod is done already, are there any other disadvantages?
Any big performance diff between 40s and 41s?

The price is good and the guy selling is an active member of the French TRX forum but thought I'd get some of your thoughts/opinions as there's loads of knowledge here on that subject.

I wasn't aware that they made 40s in banks - usually fitted to singles

But to answer your question, if they have been (correctly) modified to fit on a TRX you will not have any problems. 41 is recommended fitment to a TRX but 39s give decent gains as well (so if yours are 40 you should be fine)
