Anyone tried one of these as an upgrade to the existing horn? Was thinking it might come in handy on the link below you can hear what they sound like. With a HID 55W system and this would I be overloading the battery too much?

Re: Horny
Hard to fit due to size. Have heard of a bloke on the FJR forum who disassembled one to get it to fit on the FJR. Have fitted one to my ex's TRX and had it hanging on the left of the motor under the rear of the fairing. I would suggest fitting a 2 trumpet set up as it can be squeezed in better. MTCW = my two cents worth
Cheers,
Alan.

late but yep no dice.... Steibel no fit.... double trumpet needed.... Mmmm.
Looked at 115db but waiting on current draw. Fung said 3.5 for the standard... when would I need to use a relay... 5A?
Anyone got some seriously loud horns fitted... Alex had a set of car ones and they were double and bloody loud.

Magnum MSX horn manufactured exclusively for Nippy Normans to our own design. The 'MSX' stands for Motorcycle Specific Xtreme - this is a horn designed specially for the limited space on a modern motorcyle and with features that will withstand the harsh outdoor environment encountered on a motorcyle. This is not a car horn !
This compact horn is 136dB compared to the originals 110dB and since decibels are a measurement which doubles for every 3 extra decibels , the Magnum MSX IS MUCH LOUDER THAN THE PUNY ORIGINAL HORN !!!
