New to this, here goes.
In the process of fitting an R1 rear wheel in a YZF 750 swing arm. Anyone done this mod?
Would like to use an R1 rear caliper and hanger but the r1 doesn't use a torque arm. I could use the original TRX caliper on a thunderace caliper hanger, but would like to use the blue spot rear if possible. The picture of the black TRX on the forum home page shows a caliper similar to a blue spot, does anyone know what rear wheel and swing arm set up is on the black bike?
Cheers.

Re: R1 Rear Wheel in YZF swinger
hello and welcome.
This doesnt answer your question but ...... its a lot easier to use a yzf rear wheel in a yzf swinger.
its still a 5.5inch 180-tyre like a R1 iirc and uses the torque arm which can be modded to take a R1 caliper.
ues "search" for more info.

Re: R1 Rear Wheel in YZF swinger
Cheers for the reply.
It's just I had the R1 wheel kicking around and wanted to use it really.
I have found a picture on here of my proposed mod, so I guess someone has managed it.
If it turns out to be a real hassle then I'll use the YZF rear.
