Anyone done a Trx Flat Tracker?

Hello Guys, I've become a bit obsessed with the Kenny Roberts TZ750 flat tracker and was wondering if anyone had attempted it with the TRX? The only issue I can see is cutting most of the rear frame off to accomodate the seat, not much of an issue but I was just trying to visualise how it would look with the Tank etc. Any Pics or input would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Hammy.

Ive even gone for the KR look on my R6, I need to get out more!

The flat tracker look is a good one, I love it...

Very popular to do with a Yam XS650...

I saw this absolutely gorgeous Triumph Flat tracker at last years Triumph Live event at Mallory...

And yep its been done to a TRX but only once I think...

Looks good, apart from the rubish Harley copy orange paintjob.

Thought about it myself. Theres some websites that sell the flat tracker gear like mudguards, seat units, bars etc.

Hardest bit would prabably be finding some decent wire spoke wheels that fit. Would not look right with standard TRX wheels.

Not seen a TRX flat tracked Hammy but hey, why not?
Try looking at Omars site for inspiration, maybe even parts with the dollar struggling  :

I don`t know if Pitstop make the flat tracker seat unit but this 650cc Bros looks ok:

Man there's some sexy lookin bikes in them links. I hadn't thought about the spoke wheels, but it would finish it off. There's a guy near where I work who builds them and sells the parts, I'll nip in and see him on the way home from work when I get chance.

I think the Champion style is the closest to the TZ.

Spoked wheels?

Had a big run in with them years ago, they scratched some gold anodised rims that were destined for my SR, used Hagon in the end after I took them through the small claims court.
Utilised flanged Akront rims eventually.

Yes the old XS`s are lovely old girls, I like them too.
Starting to make silly money over here nowadays though, that last TRX was built for function, a fully blown sand racer and I bet it was damn quick as one too.
Anyone seen Neil Tuxworth sand race?
His little Honda XL goes like stink, mind he`s an accomplished racer:

Just come across this link on a vinduro forum I use.

This is a gorgeous flat-tracker project blog from an unusual donor bike: Honda NX650....
