I have so many rustys I am going for a complete replacement except maybe disc bolts since they are expensive and will probabaly warp the disc or simply snap when I switch them out.

So where is the UK's best source for replacement bolts?

This lot advertise a 'TRX set' but I bet it's a generic set of a range of typical Japanese bike fittings and not actually designed for a TRX

First ones that stick out for me on my neglected TRX are the brake caliper mounting M10 x 30s flanged hex head. Those are not in the above kit. Bloody ebay lies

For odds and sods like standard M6 allen, countersunk and mushroom head bolts for the TRX, I use an outfit on ebay called Bolt me Up who are cheap and quick...

I've just bought a set of engine bolts in a kit from off ebay...

..so I'll let you know if they are any good when I get them.

I tend to use several different suppliers when it comes to fasteners - i run an engineering workshop so have access to trade accounts on some items.

I have used the same supplier as Trixynut for general stainless bolt supplies (bolt me up) & they're good, also try Mrmegapack for bolt sets.

Most of the bolts used in my rebuild have been titanium even down to axle components, etc so i tend to really shop around due to price & quality

Looks like I'll be making up my own list and going to mr bolt-me-up for A2s & A4s...

If I need something specific, www.pro-bolt.com is ok, (the Australian mob are a joke though, they just order in form the UK when you order it, quicker to just order from the UK mob yourself) or I just go to a generic bolt shop...

I have a fancy aloominum toke yoke nut & some screen bolts from them... In gold of course

If you follow me around long enough you'll have all the nut and bolts you need

I also use plenty of different suppliers but for SS metric fine , specials, reduced hex head size fasteners etc you`ll not beat Stigs Stainless:

Bloody 'ell Mince - you got me there! How come i didn't know about Steve? He's a couple of roads away from me - i'll be popping down there to see what he's got

It`s more like what he`s NOT got NWS, amazing selection of all things non magnetic and shiny with threads, many odds and sods, split pins, washers, wiring connectors etc. Good bloke, with a wicked taste in hats too!
Been using Steve`s kit for years and damn good prices too, especially if he`s short on change at rallies, does special deals for your coinage.

Got the Fazer 600 rear brake sprayed & rebuilt tonight, just got to change oil & filter than it's in the paper/ebay and I'm onto what I really want to be doing - sorting my new TRX which starts with a list of bolts and fluids refresh....
