Germans have more money than sense when it comes to vehicles - believe me, I lived near BMW HQ for three years and half my friends worked for either Mercedes or Porsche.
We went out on a ride in the Dolomites for a long weekend: one American (new SV650), two Italians (916 and Transalp) one Scot(new Sprint RS) and a German on a 80's BMW.
The German's bike was concours and in better shape than the rest of ours and had 40,000km on the clock!!! Polished it after every ride - totally obsessive when they get into something.

I've seen this Akra too, and have bidded to 500€, but a guy from the german TRX has bought it. He has two TRX, one in nearly complete original condition and one bike to mess around, the Akra is for this bike.

If you had one would you sell it? or keep it? I have one on the bike I bought as well as the original cans with a baffelectomy done on them. The weight difference is huge. only problem is the person/s before me have kerbed the bottom of the right hand down pipe. Cant be seen when on but a bit miffed after swapping for mot.

I would try it and, when it's good and the engine is getting more power, keep it. Personally i'm very fond of the rear sight with two exhaust pipes, but i think i'll could be used to the sight of only one exhaust.
