Right, I cant get the idea of a TRX with a full fairing out of my head. I like the look of the FZR400 exup fairing as it has similarities with the TRX one.

My question is has anyone done one of these or seen one in the flesh? I believe that the headlights are similar and I am sure that it wouldn't be to dificult to make it fit.

I have used the search facility with not much joy. What do you think?

This one was a members bike (Barnarda) with a FZR600 fairing on it..

Also seen one with a Aprillia RS250 fairing on, and "Killerwhale" put a full fairing on his but I dont know where from.

Pretty much anything can be made to fit if you have the time and skill.

Never seen a picture of the FZR400 full fairing on a trx though soz.

I think you're talking about the 3TJ. They're tiny in comparison to the TRX so I think the fairing might look a little out of place. An FZR1000 RU fairing might be a better starting point-

One of the guys of the german TRX-Forum has already mounted a FZR 600-Fairing and it looks pretty good i think.

Maybe it's just me but that doesn't look any good to me as the fairing doesn't follow the lines of the frame.

And I'd awager it looks even worse form the other side (due to alternator)

I have looked at loads and loads of full fairings and nothing quite does it for me yet. R1 is good at the top but too wide.

Hm,

there's also the possibility to complete the original TRX fairing with additional side cowlings, look:

It's not too expensive, cost's about 190.-€, unpainted.
It looks also not too bad, i think.

Hmmm almost Laverda 688 / 750 S look about that.

I don`t ordinarily like full fairing`ed bikes but that, looking like a Laverda as it does kinda shakes my tree.

Personally I don't like that - too big a gap between the fairing and the front wheel

But a very good price

I think that faring looks smart! I'd have one! :)

Have to agree with phuk72, to much of a gap between the wheel and fairing, not something i would go for, i like the idea of a full fairing, but it would have to look right.

After looking at your links Mincehead..... i can see what you mean, but the Laverda fairing is much lower over the front wheel, i like the look of the Laverda twin headlight fairing, think that would look good on the TRX.

personally I like the half fairing as it shows off the engine, the full faring makes it look like just another generic race rep
