I dunno MV, I'm all for LED technology, but is that meant to replace normal indicators or to be used as well as normal indicators? I want the idiots in traffic around me to be as sure as possible what my intentions are in terms of turning and braking. As a replacement - nah. As an adjunct - yeah.

I have the same quandry... They also do some nice LED blinkers... Then again, there's times when I don't even bother using them...

I've got LED rear light and integrated indicators in a 99 R1 cluster.

May not be (strictly speaking) road legal but I've always got it through MOTs and it is a damn sight more visible than some of the after market shite that some manufacturers sell.

When it comes to my own safety, I'm the final arbiter as to what degree I'm going to follow the law.

this is what the 99 model R1 led tail lights look like..it fitted in pretty well with it being just 5mm wider either side and a nice alloy bracket made up to fit it in,..the wireing has a twin fillament bulb base to find the power [brake and tail light] which just fits into the existing wireing..very clever and it cost 45 dollars with free delivery which took 2.5 weeks ..im wondering how long it lasts :D ..oh..they came with a resistor ballast but i am fitting two small [bulb] indicators both sides for legal and practical reasons...illiminates the need for the resistors...[so the indicator pulses normally]..thanks for the indicators kev..

You can buy generic LED flasher relays off Ebay for about 3 quid (UK Pounds), they do not have to be specific for a bike or car, two wire or three wire types are available.
The third wire typically being and Earth.

Just a heads-up re:legality. Last time I checked the ADRs for bikes, the indicators have to be min. 30mm apart.

300mm I think, 30mm would make most anything legal...

I'm going to order some of these & some LED indicators as well, but it'll have to wait a little my funds are thinning!

Anyone seen a good mirror with turn signals that'll fit the TRX?
