Bolts for R6 Rear shock upgrade?

Post by M.V. » Tue Aug 16, 2011 5:22 am

As per the title, I'm assuming I use the TRX bottom bolt for the bottom of the adapter, I have the R6 shock bolt for the top of the shock & I reckon I should be using the R6 bottom shock bolt for the shock adaptor...

I'm thinking I might replace the bottom one with a new TRX one too...

Any thoughts?

I remember one had to be a bit longer..I think it was the bottom one to allow for the extra thickness with the adaptor.. I went to bolt masters with the original and they gave me one with the same smooth surface on the bolt just longer and cut the threaded end to size.

It looks like the one for the adaptor needs to be a bit thicker than the TRX bottom mount one...

Not really something I want to be compromised!
