I have a mates Tuono in the garage. I changed the fork oil and saels and am giving it a good going over.
I love the look of the swingarm and wondered if anyone has fitted one to a TRX?

Yep, there has been a rather nice fightered Tuono front and rear ended TRX done. I think it was in Sweden, maybe Killerwhale will be along sometime to confirm that.
Very nicely done, silver bike if I remember corrctly, the Tuono Ohlin forks were gripped in some very nice billet yokes too.

I`m not sure of the difference in weight between the TRX swingarm and a Tuono or Mille arm though.

Hi kenmore!
A member of the German TRX forum has fitted a RSV Mille Factory (=Oehlins) front end and swingarm to his TRX which
is for sale at the moment.
(I think the swingarm of the Mille is identical to that of the Tuono)
Cannot say a thing about the drivability of this conversion.
Linked greetings from Munich!

I think you mean "Peder" and his RSV factory banana swinger

Ahhh yes RSV / Mille / Tuono, they`re pretty similar. That`ll be the one, seemed to remember it as being in Sweden, cheers Kw.

Seemingly. I never removed the clutch cover (I coverd the clutch cover with a carbon cover instead).
Maybe he was ashamed of the "YAMAHA" reading on the clutch cover after fitting the Aprilia parts (there was a kind of bigger discussion in the German forum because he modified it without riding the original TRX one single meter and made snidely remarks on the original parts [as said without having ridden it], when I remember correctly)?
I don't know really - maybe he liked the "pure" aluminium look better than withe the plastic cover on it?
Guessing greetings from Munich!

I've done a similar job on my TRX. The newer rsv swing arm are a bit wider, so I had to mill off 8mm off the alloy subframe.
