My mods so far

Post by M.V. » Wed Aug 29, 2012 7:43 am

I started to put my mods into my signature file & it told me it was too long

So for your perusal:

HEL Brake lines,
Goldspot calipers with R1 Radial Master cylinder
SDR Shorty levers (with R1/R6 clutch perch)
Galfer Wavy Brake discs, front & rear
Oberon Racing footpegs
LED Taillight with integrated indicators
55W HID kit
520 chain conversion
Leo Vince SBK Cans
Rizoma Sportline grips & bar ends
Factory Pro emulsion tubes & Needles
R6 rear shock with Projection Components adaptor
.95kg/mm Hyper Pro springs & 15W oil in the front
Generic quick release fuel cap
Screens for Bikes tinted double bubble screen
Pro Bolt Gold screen screws & top yoke nut
Davamb's Quality Radiator guard
Reupholstered bum stop
lots of flat black paint!

Mods to come: FZR headlight with HID Projectors, Rizoma M/C Reservoir & holder, cut down Omrae Carbon Fibre cans, Projection Components exhaust hangers, rear hugger, pillion seat cover, better mirrors, better fuel cap!

Now, aside from all that, there's also all the work I did when I got the bike, rechroming fork legs, rebuilding front suspension, wheel bearing, not to mention replacing the engine when I blew it up :-")

By the time I add all that up, I just can't ever sell it [-(

Lucky I like it!

Dont add it up mate. Just too scary.
I am doing a bit of a restoration job on mine with no mods.Trying to use OEM parts and its getting scary too. Doesnt even need too much but it all adds up pretty quick.

Yep, the crazy thing is, I'm not even out to mod it, I just find things that aren't quite right, or old & broken & fix them.

Very nice Thomas, a few nice tasty mods, but it's definitely still a TRX.

That's my main aim really, just improve what's there already.

The only recent photo I've got, & it's got stock cans on it...

AFAIK, all the clutch perchs are the same, I have had a 99 R6 & a 2004 R1, both identical. The R1 clutch perch cost more from the wreckers though.
