Hi I want to put my bike on a dyno and get the FCR41's all setup but the guy I go to doesnt know these carbs well. Can someone who can set these up properly please join me at Projex dyno in Cradley Heath. Not doing it for a couple of months but just testing the waters to find if anyone can help me out please?

I'm no expert on carb set up specifically but from the little experience I have with my FCR's, I changed the std 150 mains to 160's before getting 88rwhp on my own TRX (with lots of other mods).

At Brands I played with needle position up or down 2 notches and overall found it difficult to feel any difference.

Just very clean revving, easy starting, no tick over issues. Bit rich I wonder as it is sooty around the exhaust outlet but mine does burn oil so may be that. Plug chopping mine is less than clear wrt correct mixture because of the oil that I am burning.

Dropped to 150's at Bedford a while back and it seemed even more clean and fast revving.

Overall it seems that FCR's are pretty tolerant of set up and will not dissappoint or give you grief unless you are miles out.

Saying that, correct dyno set up would probably be well worth it if you can find an expert. Good luck with it.
