Brembo front calipers not clearing disk.

Back on topic,
I don't think a warp as it's extremely consistent.. No pulse. The front brakes are quite squeaky. When i moved it in the garage you can hear the front disks are not being cleared, there is a content scraping noise and there are marks on the disk where it's wearing... Suggestions please!!

Some/all of you calipers could be sticking, I know mine were in a right state at that age!

Gold/Blue/Silver spot calipers are a quicker & probably cheaper upgrade, you can get a set from around $80, rebuilding your existing ones could easily cost double that if you need to replace the pistons also.

Regarding the age of these calipers , Mick and Brian, any that haven't had a regular maintainence with new oil will have some sticking issues.
Same to your car, the fluid should be changed as it rejuvenates the whole system.

Yep, plus keeping the pistons clean makes a big difference. The previous owner of my bike didn't, my Goldspots are immaculate

I have had a mechanic friend of mine and long term Trx fan take a look. He doesn't seem to think there is any noise worth worrying about! So all happy on my end!

For roadworthy here in Melbourne I have had to do the brakes anyways (old front and rest rotors and pads were shot.)

I went with high carbon wave rotors from S3 performance, I recommend them very highly! And I went with ferodo sintered pads.

So today was spent pulling apart bits of the Trixie for the first time and installing all those parts! Along with cleaning polishing and painting the headers and a general to I am very happy

I would consider this problem solved I guess. And most likely a useless thread for others so I'm sorry about that. I'll start a build thread soon as hopefully I'll have some interesting stuff to post soon!
