positive or negative, that is the question

Post by billy budge » Sun Feb 11, 2007 8:44 pm

Hello guys
ive recently bought a new alarm system for my beloved rex and it recommends to find out before installation, if the bike is a positive or negative start. Failure to do so could result in horrible consequences blah blah blah.
Have tried looking it up but cant find owt about it so i was hoping one of you techy type persons could shed some light on it please.
As ever your wisdom is greatly needed and appreciated.

billy the rex is a negative earth bike I don't know what start means . It depends on the nationality of the product as to what they refer to by start , if you post up the instructions and maybe a wiring pic it should easier to help mate
