One hot, one cold exhaust ??????

Post by phil108 » Wed Aug 06, 2014 7:35 pm

Have had a quick search through the forum, and just want to check with others to see if I'm right.

Had a blast out the other day and approx 20 miles before home something was not quite right, could put my finger on it as such. Anywho came to start her up today and after the usual warm up time I noticed that one exhaust was hot and the other cold (defo first time this has happened) headers are hot, even link pipes, but no hot gas out left hand exhaust, however it starts well, revs well, certainly has power.

So my thought was spark plug........... 8-[ 8-[ 8-[ 8-[ 8-[

If both headers are hot then it won't be plugs.
If it is only the muffler that is cold, take it off and check that it is not blocked.
