Different tunes I've run from memory.

Standard carbs: 250-300km to reserve depending on the ride type.

Modded carbs:

Stage 2 Tovami kit: 260-275km to reserve for relaxed riding or 230-250km aggressive riding.

Stage 3 Tovami kit: 160-170km to reserve for aggressive riding.
(Modded slides, big jets, no air box) plus 41mm headers.
It must be true, I read it on the internet.

Sounds like you've tried a few options with the carbies Stu???
Cosco is the best tune up here.
The last 6 months it doesn't matter how aggressive I ride, fuel has been a flat rate of $1.33/Litre. 8) 8)

But I found gains in fuel consumption wise by activating the TPS on the prog ignition, running dynatek DC-3 coils, even the catch tank gave added improvement with the carbies not sucking in all those crankcase fumes.
These are all noticeable changes especially under 3-4000rpm in performance, so If doing a lot of commuting and day to day riding, I can see you would get value from the coils and catch tank alone.
The ignitions performance have sold themselves .
I cant really give you a mileage per tank though as I've changed gearing so much from 17 and 16 fronts and 39-40-41 rears.
Current 16-41 is 4000rpm-100kph in top gear.
It doesn't matter what stage of tuning your TRX is, get the fuelling and timing close to optimum and you will find really good gains.

The TRX is now just a trackbike project now Cobba
Victoria is just getting too expensive for multiple road regos. Need solo seat regos like you fellas have.
Might eventually grab one of those ignitions of yours despite my techno-phobia
Don't have a PC or laptop. Only the iPad, so no connectivity for programming.

I musts have missed your post about coils, getting old and sometimes nod off reading threads late at night  . I'll have to look into them.

Given it is going to be track only and run in Tovami stage 3 set up, it won't see low revs too often. :D

I'm currently seeing 160 miles before needing reserve, which means desperately looking for a petrol station by the time 145 miles comes around as the thing takes ages to fire up again and no way can I find the tap by fumbling around in the guts on the move. I did see 65MPG once but the Dynojet needles/tubes now have 11K miles on them and fuel is more like 47MPG.. :( Running under 3K RPM is a lot lumpier too.
'95 4NX with K&N filter, Motad Venom cans, YSS PD valves, Ohlins fork springs, 530 C+S, Green CDI, 11/16 radial master cylinder, +30mm jack up dog bones. Enjoyable money pit.
