Shorter dogbones
Hello guys..
Talking to a mate about the wobbling problems, he advised me that this might improve the wobbling, if not it will at least improve handling…
Does anyone have any views on this? Don't seem expensive..

Blimey, a 1p piece is 2.00cm, you must really struggle being that small.[JP] wrote:nop.. I'm exactly 1.76cm...
There's been lots of discussion over different dogbones here. I think YZF ones are popular. At least one person here has a collection of different types.

Mate,
A standard TRX with correctly adjusted steering bearings, straight forks, correct tyre pressure and a 'not-to-worn' front tyre shouldn't wobble. I'd check all these thoroughly first.
Jack-up kit may be worthwhile: some think so and some don't, but I wouldn't use it to cure a wobble before checking all the other possible factors.
Mine had a steady headshake at about 30 which went away when I put on a new front tyre.
Dave.

Hi JP!
My bike gets 3 cm higher and also my wife could handle it very well
and she is less than 1,76 m
but she goes standard with her TRX.
If everything is allright you will get much more fun with this modification! Much quicker in changing any direction in combination with the 120/70 in front ...the real devil
Ciao!
Heinz

lol... 1,76m
funny guys!!!
Anyway, honk did some magic on my front suspension today and it´s better... the bike corners like it´s on rails..
still have the wobbling between 65mph and 50mph but he also said the forks need oil and seals.. so that´s the next to do.

If you mean the front end weaves about a bit in corners, I think that's just the standard suspension. Mine did that from new. Have it revalved (or maybe do a DIY job with different oil levels and different density fork oil) and check that the spring rate is correct for your weight.[JP] wrote:lol... 1,76m

Could also be a tire issue. Worn tires or just tires that TRXs 'don't like' can cause weird steering issues.
