Fuel injection

Anyone here messed around with fuel injection on a TRX? Especially the megasquirt stuff?

Not yet, but also thinking to, as an option for the FCR's...

Thats why I was wondering, since getting FCR's seems more expensive and harder to source.

Im actually in the process of dabbling with megasquirt.. Waiting on a kit to arrive. Im gonna be using the rest of the parts off the TDM900 motor. Inlet runners, injectors, fuel pump, and any other electrics that are needed.

You CAN use the stock computer from the TDM, altho you cant tweak it. Also, powercommander make a PC3 for the TDM which is fairly cheap also. a ms2.2 V3 kit (needed to be made, but all parts are there) is ~$250-300 USD depending on shipping / where you get it. A PC3 is $300-350 usd delivered to your door, no more to do cept "plug it in". But you will need the full wiring harness off the TDM.. the tuners (depending on which dyno you go to) will know the PC3 perfectly, but should be easy able to work on a MS also.

Ill know more in a few months when i fire mine up.. in the process of trying to buy a house atm (with a good shed !!) so things are on hold for a bit.

Power commanders are a little more work then "just plug in " but your right , you will find tuners who are very good with them.

i know you can alter the Co2 levels via the clocks on a TDM 900, but thats of little use to you folk as you'd be prolly using REX clocks.
