Phatty, for a guy with so much mechanical ability, how the F*ck did you mistake that sh*t you put in the engine for Clean oil

. A public stoning is in order I believe.

Hang in there mate, too much time has been put into it to just break it up.Something will come up.

Tell me about it.....I even said to myself AND my neighbour (who has a 996) that i didn't like the look or smell of the oil, but i put it in anyway....durr.

I'm never using any more fluids from a container that isn't sealed again.

I always seal my fluids in before I put them in an unknown container. Has kept me riding safe till now.

Theres more debris in that casing than in the bottom of a macdonalds deep fat fryer, no wonder the poor fecker went into melt down.

Looks like it'll end up broken. I'm not prepared to put another penny or weekend of my life into it.

Just looking at my options now for what bike to get next. Seeing as I have no money my opions currently appear to be "no bike at all". joy.

I can sypathise with your mistake, i was topping up the car with antifreeze
a couple of months ago and got quite a bit in before i realized it was old engine oil!

it's only that bad because i kept going for another 10 miles after it "went"

I knew it had gone and would be wrecked but i had no phone signal for miles and had to get home so i thought sod it and kept going as far as it'd take me.

you should have seen the look on this guy's face who was stood in a layby as i went past. he should be in the dictionary under the word "wince". knocking so bad it was almost painful!

So not only did you put crap in the engine, you rode it for another ten miles after you knew something serious was wrong. A public stoning would be too good for you, I reckon you should be forced to own a BUEL or even worse, a SUZUKI as punishment.

What's the point in stopping and waiting about for someone to help, or walking for miles and miles until you get to a phone to call for help? It'd have taken hours.

I knew it was knackered so i wasn't bothered, i just wanted to get home and throw the damn thing in the garage.

It's definitely getting broken up, and I won't be buying another one. No fault of the bike, I enjoyed my brief time with it, but it's just time to sel up and move on to something else, probbly next year now.
