DFH
1. I did cos i wanted to see what difference a progressive spring would make, Hyperpro seem to have a resonable rep,so i thought why not.

2. Having had experience of maxton products i can say that they are very good, the rear shocks are well made and work well, the fork rebuilds they do are equally as impressive.... this was to a previously slappy FZR600

3. Not all replacement rear shocks are equal...I wouldnt touch WP Again with a barge pole, absolute waste of money. The Ohlins on the other hand was worth every penny because it worked and worked well.

Thats my experience
All hail the HYPNO-TOAD

dfh, Billy, please keep it civil and drop the sarcasm / personal jabs out if it can't be done in a friendly way... I've got other things to do besides editing / deleting posts that get out of hand.

I've got a Nitron shock which I'm well happy with if anyone's interested....

It's a one-off piggy back one and yes, I had to cut a (small) hole in my YZF swingarm to fit it...

Is that based on the Track or Race shock?

It's the one with adjustable compression and rebound (but not high and low speed) which ever one that is...

My TRX hasn't "grumbled" since before January 14th, so I'm pretty sure it was probably the burrito...
