Well I've decided to leave the TRX as is. I can't bring myself to start cutting her up like many here have done and after much searching have decided to get a naked SV650 instead.
I've got a mate interested but if that falls through I'll be sure to post my TRX for sale here first.
Thanks for all the advice - this forum is a great resource!

bars are on now there the speigler ones with the braided lines etc but didnt have time to tottaly set it all up today but managed to re route the throttle cable ok and have the bars set right need to figure out how to remove the bolts holding on the ignition switch next to mount that to the new yoke whack some grip glue onto the new heated grips and file off the location knobs off the clutch side switch gear as ive allready done the throttle side also need to wait for the divvy clutch cable to arrive at my local m&p aswell as the nose fairing ive got in and attempt to not have to ditch the orginal clocks. sure there will be many other bits and bobs to go over aswell but for the moment making good progress
anyone know where i should tap the live for the heated grips ?

Yer I have a few pics in members rides section

There are a few purists here who consider a bar conversion to be heresy, but to be honest I feel the riding position is vastly improved for any sort of distance work.
Besides, its reversible so I can put clip-ons back on to do trackdays.
Remember you must move the fairing forward and upward if you want to avoid cropping it down to size. Let me know if you need all info involved for conversion.

Right bars are being a pain in the rectum! basically these ones that came in the kit look great feel nice and light etc but they have some wierd non standerd bar end hole ? im only aware of the 2 sizes and these are smaller than the smaller renthal bar size inserts that come with the bar end mirrors ? anyone seen anything or know anything about this ? simple soulution is to drill holes out bigger but I simply would rather buy a bar end that fits if there is one out there somewhere ?
