G'day T Rex owners, count me in!

Post by 72SF » Tue Oct 16, 2007 6:54 am

Hi there,
I bought myself a 98 TRX for my 25th birthday, have always been a fan of the old Laverda SF's and find that this beauty has soul bursting out the seams.

My new moto:
Image

It's had 3 previous owners, 2 of them ulyses, 40580km, immaculate condition, log books, owners manual, Ventura gear - now sold, Oxford heated hand grips - don't want them, headlight protector, oggy knobs, sheepskin seat covers, new front rotors, near new chain + sprockets, new front tyre, good rear tyre, shims checked at service 500km prior, and Jama pipes. Feels really tight, like a new bike..... I like buying my own presents :D

I've been reading your posts everyday since the purchase. A couple of questions. I like to have consumables ready to go off the shelf what do you guys recommend in the way of; chains & sprockets?

My fuel economy is pretty good at 4.0-4.5L per 100km, good emulsion tubes or riding too much like grandma?

Cheers,
Martin

Welcome Martin. So good to see good taste in one so young. :D
Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.

72SF welcome from SWANSEA N.S.W. The boys were just talking about chains and sprockets on this site recently and suggested THE CHAIN GANG in QLD.
