As far as I remember, I put on HEL braided lines, then put on Blue Spots sometime after and used the same brake lines.
It's more important to get TRX-specific lines so they are the right lengths. As blue spots are yamaha, fittings are the same as for the standard trx calipers so no need to tell Goodridge/HEL/Earls/whoever.
But, wait for someone else on here to confirm/tell me I'm talking bollox before going ahead and ordering....!

Depends.
ThunderCat and ThunderAce calipers have the banjo in the same place as the TRX and stock hoses need only a small tweak on the fitting to allow the banjo bolt to be properly tightened.
R1 style calipers have the banjo on the side and the origianl fitment style hoses have to be twisted 90 degrees to fit on. If you're fitting these type of caliper and getting new hoses then order the hoses with R1 style ends.
Having said all that, unless you're fitting the smaller master cylinder, don't go for braided hoses. The brakes end up being very on/off.

..mine must be ones like this then (look under Members Rides on Trixynut to see them) but pretty sure I didn't 'tweek'the lines at all: just bolted straight on.ThunderCat and ThunderAce calipers have the banjo in the same place as the TRX and stock hoses need only a small tweak on the fitting to allow the banjo bolt to be properly tightened.
..nope, don't agree: blue spots/braided are perfectly fine feel-wise and much better than blue spots/rubber lines, and much much better than standard calipers with rubber or braided lines.Having said all that, unless you're fitting the smaller master cylinder, don't go for braided hoses. The brakes end up being very on/off.

IMHO ... I have blue spots with braided hoses (from the original grey calipers) Fitted the blue-spots without any problems whatsoever & the brakes give me all the feel I need. Standard rubber hoses surely 'balloon' ALL the time so you will suffer lack of feel ???
Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.

My five eggsworth ...
I fitted blue spots, Goodridge hoses, cast iron discs (sorry Martin!) and a Lucas radial master cylinder...
My experience is that the later Goodridge hoses with the hex fittings are adustable - simply loosen the fitting a quarter turn, rotate the banjo until it's right and nip it up again... clearly the older crimped hoses are fixed...
With this setup, the brakes are very progressive, bags of feel, very responsive and with two fingers pressure can get the front to the point of lock-up.
Sadly my piss-poor suspension set up means the front is chattering like fek at hard braking and my balls aren't big enough for stoppies...

they are R1. I put a pair on with HEL hoses and had to kink the hoses to fit. wasn't happy with them like that so got rid and fitted Cat calipers.
Dave (Trixynut) I'm bloody sure you said you had an R6 master cylinder when I was at your place. I must be losing it. Apologies if I have done you a dis-service (but I still say the 5/8 master is too big and lacks feel with braided lines and bluespots - so there!)

omega
i ran bluespots on my TDM with original hoses and they were great
i had to bleed the system at one point coz i fuk't up (long story) and decided to fit the set of braided hoses i had in the garage
the brakes are now TOO sharp for normal road use, i can lock the wheel with 2 fingers
my TRX brakes are still standard, i have braided lines & a set of blue spots in the garage, i will not be fitting both
i would seriously suggest only doing one or the other and see if you are happy with that before replacing the whole system
