I'd go for a shitty load of fuel
Im like Martin said (next post)
I'm glad it is going, cause it's a pain when it is something simple that takes so much of your time, to say nothing of the grief

well she ran for a week - then started playing up running on what seemed one cylinder then rough and no longer starts
i have now replaced battery , plugs , air filter , emulsion tubes + fitted Dyno jet kit stage 1 , i have stripped and checked the fuel tap guaze, and checked the diaphram for splits and the fuel pump is working correctly but she still wont start
i re-checked the HT leads by taking the left one out and fitting a plug in and there is no spark when i turn it over now so im guessing this is the fault
Any suggestions as to what i am going to replace next or if im test the plugs for a spark wrong
many thanks

i have removed the cdi and checked the plugs into it , checked the fuse box too
There is no kinks in the looms , No blown fuses and everything seems in order - the cdi makes the nice click ( as im thinking it should )and clicks fast when i flatten the battery , the engine turns over fine and if i hold the throttle open turns over faster fine too - i have not swapped the coils or leads around just lifted the left one out pushed a plug into it and tryed turning it over and it wasnt producing a spark on that plug
If one side worked would it not be enough to fire up and just run on one cylinder?
when you say earth the plug martin how exactly do you mean.?
i made sure i pushed the HT lead onto it securly after changing the plugs but i havent done anything too the coils or leads
