One member told me another had a fairing that he was going to buy but said he would step aside
as he felt my need was greater and informed the seller that i would be intouch.
I contacted the seller who told me he had a danged fairing, screen and mounting bracket.
He didnt know its value and said for me to make an offer. Having nothing to base a price on
i made an offer.
The seller then tells me the original buyer was going to pay 3 times my offer and rather than give me a
chance to say fair enough i dont know what its worth, i'll match his offer, he then tells me its on ebay.
I check on ebay and find its now listed for £10 more than the first buyers original offer on a buy it now.
I make make an offer to match the original but then notice that the auction doesnt include the mounting bracket.
I know find that the fairing has ben sold to the member who stepped aside for me.
(He has since contacted me to explain that he thought i didnt want it as it was listed on ebay which is fair enough)
To say i'm bemused and a little pissed off is an understatment.
what the fuk is up with some people.
surely it would have cost nothing to say your offer wasnt enough and this is what i want instead of fuk'n me off

I've had shit loads of bikes and am a member of a couple of other bike specific forums and if i'd asked for help or
parts on either of them i can gaurentee i'd have got the parts for nothing especially as they were damaged in the first place, or for pin money if they were straight. its what enthuesiasts do isn't it? help each other out !
some guys on here (colsalate & kookimansta) have been very helpful when i've asked for parts and i can only say a big thank you to them for making the effort. (youngy also replied with an offer of parts for post only

but have a trackday fairing (no headlamp mountings) in a lovely shade of yellow that's kinda spare if it helps ...
