Seat lock bolt removal tool...

Post by trixynut » Sun Jun 29, 2008 11:03 am

Anyone got one?

It's a six-pointed-star security bolt with a middle stud.

If anyones got a bit that fits it, can I borrow it?

Hoping you could post it to me and I'll take me bolts out and post it back next day with a quid for your time/post cost?

Cheers,

dave.

Dave,

I have a set of these bloody things. Can post them to you if no-one else can assist, as it sounds like you already have some offers. Let me know...

PS if you get a set for yourself, make sure the key has the right number of splines. There are 7-spline versions. Ask muggins how he knows. Bloody torx!

Might also be worth checking your local Lidl or maybe Aldi, got a set a few weeks back from mine under the brand Workzone.

Has philips, posidrive, slotted, splined, hex, torx, hollow hex & torx, square, tri point, some weird offset phillips and them slotted with the bit in the middle and of course has standard screwdriver handle, t-bar, ratchet and extensions, about 95 bits all in and the best bit of all it cost about a fiver!!
