my appologies ..it is a family site and before 8.30pm... posterior is what I meant to say.. (blue/new south wales and maroon/queensland are the colours of our state of origin rugby league teams for those who dont know) feirce rivalry like england vs wales...

Thank you all that have provided translations so far. You guys rule! It really shows how international this board has become! I am humbled. :shock:

Anyone got a snowball, err Norwegian translation to go with the bunch? :wink:

Norwegian is basically Swedish dialect ;) We ruled their country until 1905...

Seriously, Danes, Norwegians and Swedes understand enough of the written texts in each language. But listening to a Dane speaking is something else. As a matter of fact, many Fins understand Swedish as well, it was compulsory to learn Swedish in the school until a couple of years ago. (Finnish belongs to a completely different language family, not even related to Russian as one would think, I believe it's the Finnish-Hungarian language family, weird when one looks at a map over Europe...) We used to have Finland as well, but the Glory days are long gone now...

did you guys see on tv the welsh street sign.
just hope none of the translations you get are like this Max!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the bit im welsh was a automatic reply from the translation office saying "i am out of the office at the moment please send any translation work needing to be done" or some thing very close to.
