front mudguard

I would really like to change my front mudguard for something a bit more funky & was wondering if anyone knew of an alternative that fits ? Standard TRX one looks very bland to me. I bought a Ducati 916 one off ebay but the sale went pear shaped & I never received it.

I don't mind if it needs trimming or drilling or even if brackets need making, just fancy something that wraps around the fork legs a bit or travels down at the front ?
Seem to remember someone asking about this a while back but they didn't get much of a response.

perhaps something off an early R6 ?? try you local breakers they will be a good source for bits and you can allways take stuff back and try something else

Could this be a record for the time taken for a reply ?

This is my 1st bike for just over 5 years so I'm not well acquainted with any local bike breakers (yet). If they're anything like the car ones I'm shafted. I asked a bloke only last week if I could "try before I buy" to which he replied " we're not a bloody swap shop" ! Maybe I should have gone there in person.

HavenÂ´t seen it!

This company makes quite sweet stuff, i had the medium one....really good finish to. And you can get it painted to!

Just a note, they are copied with a 60 front so if running a 70 you will hear the grubble if driving over it....didnÂ´t bother me though.

KEDO in Germany (http://www.kedo.com) had a few fender options listed if I remember correctly. They will happily take your Eeenglish banana republic currency and ship you a fender. A reputable operation. You can look up the relevant pdf page of their catalogue on the website for pictures, etc.

Edit: ARD racing custom-make their fibreglass fenders/mudguards/etc. If you had a particular style in mind, I think they have a wide selection of moulds and might well be able to do something a bit different for you. Just an idea - I imagine you'd have to know exactly what you wanted in advance though.

I agreed about the standard mudguard. Maybe a thundercat one?

Theres a french company as well, but seeing as I have just trashed windows xp and reloaded/installed everything because of a *$^&*%^& ing video card dying (new one purchased and installed today) I've forgotten who it was, I'm sure someone here will remind me so as I can add the site to my list (

which wasnt backed up on this computer).
