Re: BSB Races
Thanks Dave
Had a look round the site and found

£22 for the day - that's cheaper than I was expecting - might have to take mini-me for a little day out
(esp as she gets in free!!!)

Thruxton is at the end of May-29th-30th-thinking of riding down the length of the A272-one of the best roads in the south!

GEEE I thought it was racin in the bachular and spinster ball. Could imagine if it was China with there 2child policy and everyone wanting a man to keep the family name alive
.Plenty of competition out on the track there...
Wow you could imagine the action in the pits ...

Went to Brands, Going to Oulton on Monday. Usually go to thruxton as its a nice ride down. Its also cheaper than the others as its not an MSV circuit.
also we are doing Knock hill this year as part of a Scotland tour. Cadwell is good too.

Re: BSB Races
MSV of course run the series, so I'm almost surprised there are any non-MSV tracks involved. Brands and Donington 4 times a year anyone?Silver wrote:Went to Brands, Going to Oulton on Monday. Usually go to thruxton as its a nice ride down. Its also cheaper than the others as its not an MSV circuit.

Might well go to Donington. Fens are a bit far for me.

Re: BSB Races
OK - having never been to Thruxton before ..... what are the viewing areas like? Is it enough to just get a general ticket, or should I get grandstand tickets too?

Re: BSB Races
Havn`t been there since the early eighties but from my addled memory I`m sure viewing is good Jak,I wouldn`t go to the expense of grandstand seating myself:

Click on the red `terrain` box to see the circuit.

Re: BSB Races
Working AGAIN Jak,plus it`s a hell of a trek for me!
Seeing as I missed the Sheene Memorial at Olivers Mount last weekend(anyone go?)I`m trying to secure time off WELL in advance for the Cock`o`The North races there on the 11th and 12th of July.
I`ve got the Bob MacIntyre memorial races soon(13th and 14th of June)at my home circuit,East Fortune and I can`t wait!
I`ll likely get to Croft and Knockhill for the BSB rounds though.
