Geeez! You did that quick. Nice work. I reckon my blinkers look right at home there.

Got some better pic's on the weekend.I went up to St.Andrews and took these pic's in front of the burnt bush.Just as the bush is coming back to life so did my Rex.

Glad your ok
Got a box of parts your free to go through and have a look there only sitting there doing nothing. might as well go to a good home. as for as your exhaust goes i brought some 100mm tube from a aluminum shop re polished them up good as new cost was about $ 100 to do both sides . Live in Berwick not to far away. Any way just a thought !

Cheers

I came off my bike on bank holiday monday evening. took full force of impcat on my chest - tankbags can hurt. shame as i had planned to do benelux and france again this year on it as well as farmyard etc.
headstock must be damaged as the paint is flaking off.

so anyone who needs a donor bike, r1 calipers, new rear tyre, new chain and spockets, new seat bacckrest, let me know.

:( hope you're ok other than a bit bruised!

Perhaps you could post up the details of what you have in the For Sale section.

Give it a few months and you'll find yourself looking enviously at bikers going by. A few years back I lost two friends in separate bike accidents and helped another who was lying in a ditch with terrible injuries ... I nearly hung up my leathers each time, but the feeling passed and I found myself back out on the TRX again.

Main thing is that you're OK (more or less).

:D Turn it into a track bike, trailer it and do track days, no traffic, no tankbags and lots of run off areas.

no good. headstock cracked. frame bent.

but we have had a few good jokes about trikes, rat bikes, slinging the engine into a tenere frame - or making a bar stool bike.

thanks for keeping me sane - especially as it was the bike one tonight. meet that is and i was not there.

:D New frame then, rebuild and put it on the track, give you time to sort both yourself and the bike out as well whilst rebuilding it.

thanks for the suggestions guys but I don't feel confident to do this and to get back on just yet.

I know its giving up but after so long riding I knew it was about time for a spill.

Anyway girlfriend is not happy, she is worried.

thanks once again. :(
