Neutral light stay on?
Hi got a problem with my 96 TRX. The neutral light stays on constantly no matter what gear I'm in. Any suggestions???

Take the bulb out!
Nah,seriously it`s the neutral light switch malfunctioning, you`ll find it behind the sprocket cover on the left hand side of the engine. It may just need the contacts cleaned but could just as easily be fooked too.
An investigation is required to check it out.
I`ve a pet hate for the `unnecessary` myself,I`ve no idiot lights or electrical gubbins on my fightererd TRX,I always know what gear I`m in and unless it`s an electrical circuit or relay etc essential to the running, timing, charging or lighting I don`t want it.
I view such things as just more to look after or replace when they fail!

Re: Neutral light stay on?
I live with the same 'problem' since a couple of years...
What's really weird is, the light behaves perfectly if the sidestand is down, i.e. light switches off in everything but the neutral. The sidestand switch works as it should too, so somehow the neutral switch works fine...
My solution: neglect it.
