Do we like?

Post by Corners R Us » Sat Jun 06, 2009 5:39 pm

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0340217605

Whilst skulking around evilBay I chanced across this modded TRX a mere 5-miles form my doorstep. I kinda like it but wonder if it'd look as good form all angles perhaps?

I particularly like the RS250 fairing, high mount pipes and the bellypan. I also think the red frame sets off the paint scheme nicely too.

Hmm, quite like that!

Don't like the fairing though, and the seat looks to be at a pretty steep angle, but an interesting front end conversion: not seen those forks used before.

Looks genuine and cared-for to me.

Stick a standard fairing back on, or 'fighter it and it'd be well nice.

Ah, red frame and white bodywork- the fastest colours :D

I think I quite like it, but I feel dirty for doing so. Kind of makes me think TZ250 bodywork would look good on the TRX though...

edit- I think the FZR1000 RU forks are very similar to the early YZF750 ones.

Probly a cracking bike but doesn't do it for me. Some pics make the seat look to steep, some it looks ok ? :? Quite like the last ebay pic, stick a single round headlight & fly screen on, job done. 8)
Oh & exhaust, brakes, clocks obviously. :D

I like it very much!! The front fairing is the only thing that looks poxy.... but apart from that I like the angle of the seat and the matching exhaust angle :P :P :P :P :P VERY VERY NICE!
Understeer - when you hit the fence with the front of the bike.
Oversteer - when you hit the fence with the rear of the bike.
Horsepower - how fast you hit the fence.
Torque - how far you take the fence with you.

Seat angle might "look" good but a few miles riding sat on your own spud sack might alter your opinion ?  & then you touch the brakes !

Abarth? WTF yo...

Why not "Micra" or "Allegro" then?

Aside from that, I like it. Seat would be OK if someone wants a TRX track bike.

I quite like it too but would prefer it without the nose fairing.
As for the seat,it`s quite tame really,I`ve ridden some that would castrate you after twenty miles, some right radical, weird and wonderful things, that one doesn`t really look too bad, maybe all TRX owners are well endowed and therein lies the problem? :D
Lady owners are obviously advantaged further by being well endowed in that area, they`ll be like those kids toy arrow suckers.
