Hahahahahaha,yep noticed that ages ago while perusing their OVERly high priced but rather nice(so they should be)products.
My little butterfly device cost me about a tenner in parts and my time only,I cannot understand where the cost is in their version,it`s an obscene amount of money for very little.

The MOT tester is looking for "NOT FOR HIGHWAY/ROAD USE" stamped on the cans - the BS kitemark isn't required.

Of course, a bit of plastic bag could have been picked up on route to the MOT station and inconveniently melted over the label..............................

I like the sound of loud twins (engines that is ) but can see where non bike lovers get pissed off with the offensiveness of it - eventually the authorities WILL clamp down and we'll all be wispering around (same goes for drainpipe Corsas/Puntos/C2 etc.)

I don`t think the authoroties know their elbows from their assholes to be honest,after all the point of legislation should be the manufacture and marketing of such systems but there`s precious little stopping anyone manufacturing an exhaust system to whatever spec they like.
People are always going to fit race cans,personally I find people shouting at one another offensive but can`t see the boys in stab vests doing much about that either.
In Scotland shouting(instead of talking)to one another is commonplace and I`ve never understood the need for it myself.
Then there`s the morons who like to try to `pop` their car windows from sound waves too,thousands of watts of music power all for what?
Lot`s of rattling plastic panels and nodding of heads!
If aliens ever do visit they`ll not stay long.

I have db killers in my Wolf cans and they dont rattle and have been in for the last couple of years.
I usually get awarded with 96db at the noise meter on trackdays. I wouldnt want any louder for the road.

Both my old BOS carbon cans and now the tita cans from PRP have dB-killers.
I always have ridden with them, still a little bit too loud to my opinion. At least I did not have the courage to go to Assen with it. Without the dB-killers it is really antisocial IMHO.
I'm looking for cans with e-marked approval I also could use with track days!

Well I bought a pair of these inserts last week,

Fitted them to my small round cans & they made very little or no difference at all. Changed the note but no quieter so I was just about to repack them (the cans) when I remembered the oval cans I bought from Brockzilla before he emigrated. Didn't need them at the time but he was practically giving them away so it would have been rude not to buy them. The only markings on them are "MACH" on the end caps & they are a fair bit longer than my round ones. Had to cut the existing tubing off the front of each can & weld a piece that slides inside my system but they sound absolutely brilliant & are a fair bit quieter too. The sound is deeper & it made me realise that my stubby round cans weren't doing much in the way of silencing at all. I spent all Saturday afternoon cutting, grinding & welding which gave me the mother of all headaches so I bought some earmuffs today (ready for next time ).

All of the above was just a very long winded way of saying I've got a pair of decibel killers for sale if anyone's interested.
