clutch perch mod
Hello,
Will either an R1 or an R6 perch fit the TRX and is any year suitable? Seen a few on ebay going cheap.
Thanks

Re: clutch perch mod
almost any clutch clamp will fit (pretty much universal bar size you see
)
question is why? Presume you are looking to change the levers?

Re: clutch perch mod
just did this with CRG shorty levers. Bought an early R6 clutch perch WITH adjuster for around $25.
Forget about the clutch switch. The TRX and R6 ones are incompatible (without a lot of dicking around)
If you want real "bling" try a CRG Supersport clutch perch

Ebay has the odd one. I think they're around the $200USD + mark. Australia - AuSFR website, UK - try Demon Tweeks catalogue or online

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting one in the near future, too.

Re: clutch perch mod
yep, am thinking about new levers
is it sufficient to just take the switch off and tie it away under the tank somewhere so the switch would be permanently 'on' but loose the starting in gear safety net?

Yep, that's what I did. BBB, look at thread "Pazzo levers for TRX?", 2nd page, 2nd last entry - the piccies of my CRGs fitted.
