Rear sprockets
Hi guyz where is the best place in the UK to get a 43 tooth rear sprocket? Ive used some software and this will give 131mph @8000rpm instead of the std 145mph @8000rpm which it cant get to ever.
My bike maybe a dinosaur but it still has some bite & has a mighty roar.

Now from memory there where some models with limiters placed in the speedo from over your way too Kenny.. maybe thats your culprit...I'm sure if it's breathing properly and there's no headwind and a good feed of chiili's the nite before should push you there

Well with the wind factor out of the way that accounts for 2 of he 4 suggested reasons,
If you do a search I'm sure you'll find which models actually had the limiter fitted(thank god not the aussie ones) on the speedo as such and the mod that can be done to the disc inserted to get around this if you have one of these.
If still running the airbox others have suggested raising the tank a little to help air intake.
