Aussie TRX for sale
Hey guys. As I was trawling through eGay I came across this:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWAX:IT
Don't know how much of a streetfighter it is, however it is fairly modded - not necessarily to my exact taste, but not bad either way...

Do the RSV forks generally get a good rap in the reviews? I love the top plate and black finish. Would go well on my Japanese import.

Is it that flouro yellow and black thing?..........yeah, only thing I liked about it was the RSV front end. Might have to scour the wreckers for a front end like that.

Re: Aussie TRX for sale
If you want front ends for a great price go here......
http://shop.ebay.com.au/superbikes_inte ... ksid=p3686
and check out this lot. US$250 shipping to Australia.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007-200 ... ccessories
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-200 ... ccessories
I will most likely get my front end from here. Complete front end performance upgrade for around $1000-1100. Obviously electrical connectors and top yoke needs to be sorted. So add a little bit more there. Better than spending $100 here and not get clip ons/switchgear and no calipers.
edit: oh yeah might have to frig with the center shaft and maybe a new front wheel but you get the picture.

Re: Aussie TRX for sale
Considering the fact it needs a lot of work to get it to A1 condition, he is off with the faries with the price. TRX's with that milage (and with working speedos and rear brakes) go for 4k. Mods do not increase the value of your bike. (at least not the mods he has done)

A bit harsh guys in real life it actually looks much less GAY,and the ad actually says make an offer so if the price is a bit "off with the fairies" (what does that really mean anyway) all anyone has to do is make an offer.
Aside from all that it is still a TRX

This is true...it is still a TRX, and that means it still has a place in our heartsRusglen wrote:A bit harsh guys in real life it actually looks much less GAY,and the ad actually says make an offer so if the price is a bit "off with the fairies" (what does that really mean anyway) all anyone has to do is make an offer.

Anyway, I sincerely hope that the sale goes well (even if it is not your bike Rusglen), and that the new owner can appreciate it for what it is.

Re: Aussie TRX for sale
Mate i had no problem with any of the comments i think this is a great forum, and i actually dislike streetfighters i dont consider it one but i thought it might get more guys looking at the ad,anyway if anyone is interested i would take $4,500 for the bike which considering the bike and spares i think is right in the ball park.
Thanks for your comments and again it is a great forum hopefully when i have sorted my financials i will pickup another TRX that is why i have quite few bits i am not selling with it(big bore kit etc)

Haha. Yeah tis all good. Well if in the future you find that you are not getting around to the new TRX, I would be more than happy to have a squiz at the parts you may wish to sell ("big bore" - wink, wink, nudge, nudge
) Again, all the best.
