What TRX Blue out of a can..?

One of my front mudguards is in need of a respray... Does anyone know a good match to the TRX Blue that I can buy in a can (from Halfords or the like)..?

At least one of this forums members knows where TRX colours can be sourced in aerosol cans,unfortunately I cannot remember who they are!
Just had a wee look around the www and came up with this outfit though:

You could always ring them for guidance if you`re not sure.Maybe with a bit of luck,the member/s on here with the knowledge of where to get matching paint in aerosol cans might notice this thread and post an answer too.

I used these guys http://www.refinishingservices.co.uk/rspaint.htm - they'll do an exact match but the TRX blue uses a lot of laquer

Although it may be possible to 'match' the colour from a can, this does not mean you will end up with a colour match when it goes on.

the actual colour depends on the number of basecoats, the number of coats of paint and the number of coats of lacquer.

To get a perfect match is a complete bitch and will need to be done by eye (which means that the chances are you cannot and will not be able to do it at home)

Any decent paint shop / sprayer will also tell you that touching up pearl paint is not possible (if you want it to look good) and that the whole thing should be taken back, prepped and sparyed complete.

FWIW, spraying with aerosols invariablky produces a shite finish. And even if you do get it right, the finish will not last due to the thinning agents which allow the paint to come through a tiny aeresol nozzle.

I'll qualify my above answer - I used them to mix/supply paint to be sprayed but they do offer aerosols. But as Phuk says - i've yet to see a good aerosol finish on pearlesants
