Fitted an other valve today. It's scrubbed in and the clearance doesn't even need adjustment! So finally I can get the engine back together.

It's called a joke , bike has small speedo reading must be new so sell it for more money. It's not really for sale

There's a lot more to do; have to take a look on the chain and the seal behind the front sprocket. If that is all done, I'll take it to a dyno, to set up the carbs properly!

The engine is back together and it run shortly today. It runs very smooth and quiet, and no little black dots on my hand if I hold it behind the exhaust!
I also put the bellmouths on. Now I finally know what people mean if they're talking about that typical flatslide sound!
Now I need some new air filter. Seperate K&N pod filters won't work, because the flange can't get over the bellmouths.
I need something like this:

Any suggestions on this and where to get it?
PS: How do other bellmouths-users do this??

Cheers! First the bike wouldn't start, but putting some petrol in the tank solved the problem.

Taken from memory it´s the MS-009...you´ll have to buy it in pairs so if you don´t want a spare i can buy it from ya....

Note: All the above sock filters come packed in pairs.

You only have to look at the last two columns, neck diameter and between centres.
I measured neck diam 42,5 mm, between centres 99 mm.
Looks like none of them listed, will fit nicely. Or am I exaggerating by being so accurate? How flexy are those filters?
I think I will go for MS-011, as it comes the closest and theoretically has enough material between the holes.

Cheers for looking that up, but MS-009 doesn't make sense to me. It's too small (between the necks; 4 cm were almost 6 cm needed), isn't it better to have the filter too big? Then you can always fold it together or something like that.

I found a lot of adverts on evilbay from ramair and send my question to them.

If you have the same stacks as these then MS-009 is the correct filter

I just bought air filter foam and got the measurements of the ramair filter to fit the blue bellmouths ms009 and made my own and cost me bugger all.. Its done about 10,000km so far and still working well...

I don't have the same stacks because I have Mikuni TDMR flatslides, but I suppose the dimensions will be more or less the same.
