Re: Progress -update.
Quick question, what is the part No for standard TRX front caliper? Also does any one have any reccomendations for rear caliper? I find the standard set up wooden and it seizes up way to easily

Re: Progress -update.
If you use the forums search facility there`s a TRX parts list on here but SHHHH, don`t tell Mr Yamaha.
And rear calipers are commonly changed for R1 or R6 bluespots but there`s caliper mountings to consider, it`s not a straightforward unbolt one type of caliper and bolt on another.I don`t know of a different caliper that`ll fit the TRX mounting. That`s not to say there isn`t one though, maybe another member will know?
Still not too difficult though, know any engineering/toolmakers shops?

I think Steve has fitted a Fazer 1000 blue spot rear caliper on a Fazer 600 hanger with some simple mods. Try finding a Fazer 1000 caliper for £sensible though. I've got a small (smaller than the standard TRX one anyway) Brembo 2 pot from a Piaggio scooter to use on my TRX when I start rebuilding it (soon...)

Yes, pretty sure.Mincehead wrote:Fazer thou rear bluespot, I didn`t think ANY Fazer had rear bluespots, You sure it wasn`t an R1/R6 bluespot Kayla?

But it was only the early ones that had the blue spot so they tend to go for quite good money on ebay and don't hang around long.
