Will be spending today - sorting the TRX for summer - Done chain & sprockets, oil change n filter, front and rear calipers rebuilt, new pads and fluid, rear wheel bearings.

Have got factory pro emulsion jets and needles to fit, spark plugs (irradium) to clean and gap, front wheel bearing to change, stearing head bearings to lubricate and adjust and if I get time fork oil to change

Will be a busy day.

By the way does anyone have any good tips on engine paint, mine is really flakey and crap looking, am tempted to drop the engine over winter and get it painted. Would want areally durable finish.

Hi there, We've had the engine paint discussion on here a while back - go to the Regional section (Australia/Asia) & it's the 32nd item from the top titled "Engine Paint" (There's probably some way of putting the link to it here but I dunno how!) The paint I used on my cyl head & barrel still looks great after 6000kms but the clear coat I put over the silver has discoloured slightly around the exhaust ports due to the heat.
It's not bad enough to worry about though & no-one else would notice it anyway. :D :D
Once you've had black - you'll never go back!
