New Red Fairing Needed!!!

Post by colslate » Thu May 20, 2010 4:39 pm

Sooo bloody annoyed at meself as fookin fueled bike up, new back tyre on and fired off up the road only to highside at the junction, threw me up six foot up in the air and smashing the red fairing........................(plus a coupla ribs!!)
Anyone got a spare? or used t'imported from grrmany, seems able to buy new from yamaha at £408 plus vat
seems expensive but after carriage and painting would be thick end of £300 for a replika
Don't want to go down streetfighter route.
Any ideas most welcome

 Ribs will mend lol don't laugh though! How many pieces is it in, could it be plastic welded? I will have one, when I get this one painted, If you don't need it in a hurry!

hmmm, dont think will bother with plastic surgery, will just let ribs mend by themselves!!
BIG PROBLEM this weekend as going to see Peter Kay tomorrow, just hope hes not funny, fookin sneezed this mornin and thought my chest was about to explode.
also big confession.............bike was only runnin on one pot as set off from junction, slippin the clutch and revvin, one millisecond later as half way turning, fired on both and almost 200bhp went thru new rear tyre sending me almost twenty feet skywards.......................................confession time................way way old enough to know better........................jeans and t shirt!!!!!!! yes I know, go mad at kids on mopeds..........looked down at ripped shirt.............way more than a fashion statement....threw bike up, not daring to look at ripped body under ripped shirt, not to mention bleedin arms!!!
Ho hum, bike least of me problems, should mend ok ..........more annoyed with meself in me head, anyways given meself final written warning!!
